5-mile fartlek with 30% at 7:30/mile and 70% at 10:00/mile.
- Fast fraction = 30 / 100 = 0.30
- Average pace = 0.30 * 7.5 + 0.70 * 10 = 2.25 + 7.0 = 9.25 min/mile
- Total time = 9.25 * 5 = 46.3 min
- Fast distance = 5 * 0.30 = 1.50 miles
- Easy distance = 5 * 0.70 = 3.50 miles
