  1. SS taxable (85%) = $20,400
  2. Gross = $20,400 + $12,000 + $30,000 + $5,000 = $67,400
  3. Taxable = $67,400 - $15,700 = $51,700
  4. Tax = $1,160 + ($47,150-$11,600) x 12% + ($51,700-$47,150) x 22%
  5. = $1,160 + $4,266 + $1,001 = $6,427
