## How to Calculate GPA Improvement

### Formula

**New GPA = (Current GPA x Current Credits + New GPA x New Credits) / Total Credits**

The more credits you already have, the harder it is to move your GPA.

Ejemplo Resuelto

2.8 GPA over 45 credits, planning 3.8 GPA over next 15 credits.

  1. Current points: 2.8 x 45 = 126
  2. New points: 3.8 x 15 = 57
  3. Total: 126 + 57 = 183
  4. Total credits: 45 + 15 = 60
  5. New GPA: 183 / 60 = 3.05 (+0.25)
