Total Pasta = People x Serving Size
Standard Serving Sizes (dry)
Pasta roughly doubles in weight when cooked. Use about 1 liter of water per 100 g of dry pasta.
Ejemplo Resuelto
Cook pasta as a main course for 4 people.
- Serving size: 85 g per person (main course).
- Total: 4 x 85 = 340 g dry pasta.
- Cooked weight: 340 x 2.25 = 765 g.
- Water: 340 / 100 = 3.4 liters.
