## Inductive Reactance

**XL = 2 x pi x f x L**

Reactance increases with frequency: inductors pass DC and block high frequencies (opposite of capacitors).

Lösungsbeispiel

10 mH inductor at 1 kHz.

  1. L = 10 mH = 0.01 H
  2. XL = 2 x pi x 1000 x 0.01 = 62.83 ohms
