## How to Calculate with Fractions
### Addition
**a/b + c/d = (a×d + b×c) / (b×d)**
### Subtraction
**a/b - c/d = (a×d - b×c) / (b×d)**

### Division
**a/b ÷ c/d = (a×d) / (b×c)**
Results may need to be simplified by dividing both numerator and denominator by their greatest common factor.
