## How to Calculate Neutralization Volume
### Formula
**V_b = (C_a × V_a) / C_b**
Where:
- **V_b** = volume of base required (mL)
- **C_a** = concentration of acid (M)
- **V_a** = volume of acid (mL)
- **C_b** = concentration of base (M)
This applies to monoprotic 1:1 neutralization. For polyprotic acids, multiply by the number of acidic protons.
