Formula

Power (W) = Force (N) x Velocity (m/s)

The power-to-weight ratio (W/kg) is the most important metric for climbing cyclists. Professional cyclists sustain 5-6 W/kg for an hour; recreational riders typically manage 2-3 W/kg.
