## How Group Expense Splitting Works Add up all expenses, divide by the number of members for a fair share, then compare what each person paid to their share. ### Formula **Fair Share = Total Expenses / Members** **Balance = Amount Paid - Fair Share** Positive balance means others owe you; negative means you owe the group.
