Ohm's Law links voltage, current, and resistance.

Formula

V = I x R

Where:

  • V = Voltage in volts
  • I = Current in amperes
  • R = Resistance in ohms
  • Rearranging gives R = V / I and I = V / R. Power is P = V x I.
