The period is the time for one complete cycle of a wave.
Formulas
T = 1 / f
The angular frequency is omega = 2 * pi * f, measured in radians per second.
Exemple Résolu
A 60 Hz electrical wave (common AC frequency).
- T = 1 / f
- T = 1 / 60
- T = 0.01667 s = 16.67 ms
- omega = 2 * pi * 60 = 376.99 rad/s
