## Sound Wavelength with Temperature

The speed of sound in air increases with temperature, which affects the wavelength.

### Formulas

**v_sound = 331.3 + 0.606 * T** (in m/s, T in Celsius)

**lambda = v_sound / f**

Higher temperatures produce longer wavelengths at the same frequency.

Exemple Résolu

Concert A (440 Hz) at 20 degrees Celsius.

  1. v = 331.3 + 0.606 * 20 = 343.42 m/s
  2. lambda = 343.42 / 440
  3. lambda = 0.7805 m
