Market Share = (Company Revenue / Total Market Revenue) x 100

Market share measures your slice of the total pie. A growing market share indicates you are outperforming competitors; a shrinking share means they are gaining ground even if your revenue is growing. The challenge is accurately defining and sizing the total addressable market. Use consistent data sources and timeframes for meaningful comparisons.
