How to Adjust Serving Sizes

Formula

Adjustment Factor = Desired Servings / Original Servings

Adjusted Amount = Original Amount x Adjustment Factor

This works for any ingredient in the recipe. Multiply every quantity by the same factor.

Example Calculation

Adjust a recipe from 6 servings to 10 servings. One ingredient is 3 cups.
