Total Rice (dry) = People x Serving Size
Standard Serving Sizes (dry rice)
Rice absorbs about 1.5x its weight in water. Use a 1:1.5 ratio of rice to water for white rice (absorption method).
Worked Example
Cook rice as a side for 4 people.
